Analytics

Epigraph Analytics tracks how users interact with your 3D Viewer, AR experiences, Configurator, and Tours. This guide walks you through connecting Epigraph to your Google Analytics 4 property.

📘

What You'll Get

Once setup is complete, you'll receive a custom Looker Studio dashboard showing engagement rates, hotspot interactions, AR usage, and conversion insights for your Epigraph implementation—typically within 4–6 weeks of confirmed setup.

Requirements

Before setting up analytics, you must have:

  1. An Epigraph solution implemented on your website

  2. A Google Analytics 4 property connected to your site

  3. Admin access to your GA4 property (to grant Epigraph temporary Editor access)

Choose Your Setup Path

How you connect Epigraph Analytics depends on how you've implemented Google Analytics on your site:

Choose this if: You use Google Tag Manager to manage your GA4 tracking.

You'll import our pre-built GTM template and update the GA4 Measurement ID variable.

Choose this if: You use GA4 directly (gtag.js) without Google Tag Manager.

You'll add the ga-measurement-id attribute directly to your Epigraph component.

📘

Not sure which you use?

Check your website's source code. If you see googletagmanager.com/gtm.js, you're using GTM. If you see googletagmanager.com/gtag/js, you're using GA4 directly.
